Town Beach in Exmouth is a great beginner friendly location. It is easily accessible and works great for those land breezes. Be aware of rocks and reef, booties are strongly recommended. Keep an eye on the tides as water can get very shallow at low tides. A kitesurfing school : Exmouth Surf Centre operates in the area.

🧭 Wind Compass
SE, ESE, E, ENE, NE, NNE: These wind directions are ideal for kitesurfing at this location. These winds will blow predominantly in the mornings or days when the sea breeze doesn't come in.
N, SSE : This wind directions will be gusty as the wind passes over nearby land before reaching the beach
S, SSW, WSW, W, WNW, NW, NNW: These wind directions will either be unsuitable or off-shore at this location and must be avoided by all kitesurfers.
⚠️ Dangers and Restrictions
- Watch out for rocks in the water
- Some areas can get very shallow at low tide
- Gusty winds in SSE to SE winds on the beach and close to the shore
- Keep a safe distance from other beach users

Keep driving to end of Warne Street until you get to the beach.
You can drive straight to the beach with a 4x4
